Thank you for volunteering! Below are brief descriptions of each volunteer role. Please arrive on time for your assigned shift and check in with your area lead.
**Each volunteer will be assigned to a specific task, listed below. If you would like to request a specific position, please send a separate email. Requests will be reviewed, and efforts will be made to accommodate to your request. Please send your requests to Rachael Gibbons, Director of Programs, rachaelg@mtviewcc.org **
Ticket Booth Volunteer
• Greet guests and distribute wristbands or tickets
• Answer basic event questions and provide directions
• Handle cash or ticketing materials responsibly
Dunk Tank Volunteer
• Monitor dunk tank safety and participant turns
• Control throwing line and crowd flow
• Assist dunk tank sitter and communicate with lead
Obstacle Course Volunteer
• Manage entrance and exit of participants
• Ensure safe play and proper spacing
• Assist children as needed while maintaining flow
Bounce House Volunteer
• Monitor number of participants inside
• Enforce safety rules (no shoes, no rough play)
• Assist children entering and exiting
Carnival Game Volunteer
• Explain game rules clearly
• Manage turns and hand out prizes
• Keep game area organized
Floating / General Support Volunteer
• Assist where needed across the event
• Cover breaks and help manage lines
• Support setup or cleanup as directed
** Mininimum Volunteer Age: 10 years old. Volunteers 10-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.**
