Reporting Relationship: Youth and Family Program Coordinator
Hours: 3 hours for a single day shift; August 20th from 9:30am-12:30pm
Position Summary: MVCC Back to School Backpack Giveaway is an opportunity for volunteers to get out in the community to distribute free backpacks and school supplies to students in the FME area.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and support the vision, mission, and culture of MVCC
- Maintain courteous and professional communication to participants
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Respond to MVCC Team Supervisor’s phone calls, emails, or texts within 24 hours
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee team of 4-6 volunteers at assigned site
- Coordinate set up of tables, pop-up tent, and backpacks
- Fill out demographic record sheet and turn in to YFP Coordinator after event
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Complete MVCC volunteer training
- Ability to lift 20lbs.
